Can Boostnet help with my website?

To host it, yes. But not to build and/or maintain it.

In case you're unaware, Boostnet is owned by RCVmedia. Boostnet and RCVmedia are two separate companies, but run by the same people. Boostnet was created to give you a place to host your website at a price that reflects your webhosting abilities.

Support costs are the largest expense for a webhosting company. If you don't need support then why pay for it? That is one of the reasons Boostnet is less expensive, you will not receive the level of service and support that you will at RCVmedia.

We don't want to shame you or be rude when we close tickets on Boostnet if the issue can be easily solved with reading our knowledgebase or a simple online search, especially in this time where you have AI to do it for you. We simply want to offer a less expensive alternative for those who have already learned what webhosting is all about. If you find your questions are not being answered to your satisfaction, you can move your site to RCVmedia where we'll arrange things for you.

There are vast resources available on the Internet to help you if you decide to stay with Boostnet and stick it out. Just please don't hold it against us because we don't answer the basic questions in a support ticket. First off, the support departement (at Boostnet, but also RCVmedia) is there for server problems, not to teach you how to configure .htaccess. See the entry: "What support does Boostnet provide?" for what we do and do not support. Second, regard our logo at the top of our website. It says: "Boostnet. Direct Dutch webhosting." That pretty much says it all. We are direct, we are a Dutch company and we offer webhosting in the Netherlands.

Thank you for understanding.
